Health information is the most personal data there is. This page explains, in plain language, what the EHR Pakistan platform (MyDoctor) collects and how it is handled.
What we collect
When you use the symptom check we store the details you choose to give, name, age, city, phone (all optional), and your conversation, including the summary, suggested tests, and urgency assessment it produces.
How it is used
- To provide the service itself, your answers produce your recommendation, and your record supports your care.
- To share with a treating doctor when you choose to, a symptom-check summary exists so a doctor can review it.
- AI processing: conversation text is processed by AI models via API to generate questions and summaries. It is not used to train models.
What we never do
- We do not sell health data. To anyone. Ever.
- We do not show advertising based on your health information.
- We do not share identifiable records with third parties outside your care, except where the law requires (e.g. notifiable-disease reporting to health authorities).
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS everywhere), stored in access-controlled databases, and clinic staff only see records for patients registered at their own facility.
Your rights
You may ask us to show or delete the data we hold about you. Contact privacy@mydoctor.com.pk.
Emergencies
MyDoctor is not for emergencies. If someone is seriously unwell, go to the nearest hospital or call 1122.
